for skirts/dresses? I'm looking for a pair of booties for DDs. Do you think these will work with skirts and dresses? They have slender ankles and these look like they may not gap too much. If anyone has these or has tried them, I'd love to hear your opinion! Thanks in advance!

I don't have them but love them. They look very stylish and cool and quite narrow at the opening. Excellent price too!

I have tried them on I really liked them. They are casual, but structured. What I liked about them is the narrow opening. Go for it!

They do look very slender at the ankle, and I like the look of the boot, but somehow it strikes me as heavy to wear with bare legs. Maybe because of all the studs wrapped around the ankle? I might look for something that has a V shape at the front. As a fellow tiny ankle person I understand how hard it is to find booties that work with skirts!

I bought them at NAS. Still haven't worn them yet (It's 72 degrees here). They do have a nice narrow fit on the ankles. I find them very comfortable. Can't help you on the skirts/dresses question. I have never worn boots/booties with a dress;-)

I have these boots in both grey and black and have worn them a ton this fall. They are very comfortable, TTS and fairly narrow around the ankle.. They would certainly work with skirts and dresses. The studs are very subtle, more burnished than shiny, and just add a little interest. A word of caution, although the grey is a great colour, if you nick or scratch them it's white underneath. They are also made of a softer material than the black pair and I don't think they'll last as well. For the price though, I say give them a try!

For casual dresses for teens, I'd go for something like this Minnetonka fringe boot. I think they look cute with bare legs or tights. But then again, I don't mind a bit of a flower pot look at this boot shaft height.
