I'm due for a cut soon and I'm thinking I want to switch things up as summer is approaching. I have a great stylist that can pretty much do anything. I am thinking I want to go shorter. I'd also like something edgier to contrast the summer dresses I plan to wear. I'm not opposed to switching up color.

My hair is wavy/curly, but blow dries straight pretty easy especially when shorter.

So basically, just about anything goes, as long as it will look fab.

Any suggestions or pics of styles you think would look good on me?

Can I tell you how much I LOVE your look in #7? So beautifully offsetting your lovely features... Yes, I do think short hair suits you to a T. Just Gorgeous!

If you do choose to stay with a longer style, I think a little smoother is the way to go, rather than all curly. Like in #2, which is the one I liked best after short #7.

For the mid- to longer length, how about a Victoria Beckham-esque face-framing bob, but just a little choppier?

I really like the length of #5 on you. Maybe just with less curl to balance out your summer dresses? I also like #4

I like how my hair looks long, but summers are so brutal here. In the past when I've had it longer during the summer it ends up pulled up almost all the time.

Seven is gorgeous bringing out your features but I prefer a softer, more feminine cut on you such as four. You have such a warm, welcoming look that I feel the softer style just enhances this.

I love the bangs in #5 (and 6 too?). I like it short too and think that would be cute with dresses. I have the same problem with my bob providing too much sweetness with skirts and dresses. You explained it so well!

I totally get the long hair/heat thing. #5 is my favorite! That way it's off your neck.

#5 or #7. Too different looks, but both look great. Just from these pictures 5 is more girly and fun and 7 looks more elegant and sophisticated, fwiw. Great options!

My votes would be 2 and 7

#2 Has these lovely face-framing choppy layers that look amazing with your face shape. Puts a lot of focus on your best features. You seem to have a roundish face like I do, and that hairstyle has worked for me in the past (except of course, I'm extremely lazy when it comes to styling).

#7 I'm biased. I like pixies and you so happen to have the face for it!!! Look how your eyes open up! And it really shows how pretty you are!

I like #5 because somehow the bangs make me notice your pretty eyes much more.
