I cut my hair yesterday, a shorter more “pageboy” version of the French bob I had. After the stylist blew it completely straight, I kind of hated it. But I washed it today, and it’s back to being wavy so now I’m a fan. As I suspected - I think I just hate having pin straight hair. (Feels too severe on me). The last pic was with the blowout.

I’m actually going out this evening, though it will be a bit cold. I will be socializing! I have even put on MAKEUP!!

I am carrying an Aimee Kestenberg bag that Angie made a top pick. I love this color, and I recently passed on a tote in a similar color. I need my bags to be crossbody nowadays, or else backpacks.

Adorable haircut, especially with the specs! I hear you on super-straight hair feeling too severe. I've worn my hair that way time and time again; my hair is very straight when it's chin length or shorter with hardly any natural wave until it gets down towards my shoulders -- definitely part of why I'm leaving it longer! I'll go back to a shorter cut someday (I feel a twinge of envy every time I see a cute pageboy like yours), but I'll have to play around to see if there's any low-effort way to coax some more texture out of my hair when it's short...

La Ped - I am very fortunate that my hair has waves at most lengths, since this is what I prefer and it also takes little to no effort. I wouldn't mind a blow out when I have hair closer to shoulder length, but I definitely wasn't happy with this cut until I washed out the blowout. I think the pageboy was a little too literal for me.

I hear you @Chiara - I've been slowly learning how to coax out my waves (so the rest of my hair now somewhat matches my spiral ringlets lol) & now won't let non-curly hairdressers touch it for fear of what you described (I even had one guy *straighten* my hair - straighteners, not blow dryer!)

I love this hairstyle on you, it’s brilliant, both wavy and straight. I have a slight preference for the wavy version. I once tried this hairstyle and it was terrible on me, I looked like a Lego figurine with a helmet of hair. On you it is tres chic!

Super cute cut! I used to love having my hair blown out by the stylist when it was longer, and hated when it was time to wash and dry it again myself. I can never get it that smooth (without a flat iron, I guess). But at this short length I have the same reaction as you - I can't wait to get some curl and body back the next day!
