My closet is currently in a good place and while I do have a few needs for autumn winter, I'm happy with what I have. But a few days back my husband remarked that while my wardrobe is impeccable, maybe my hair needs to 'go' with my look. When I asked him to explain, he explained that while my hair is beautiful, maybe I shouldn't wear my same old ponytail with every outfit and change my hair according to my outfit once in a while?
I really think what he said makes sense. I have wanted to establish a hairstyling routine as well, but I have no idea where to start. I have always worn my hair open (naturally air dried) or tied in a ponytail. I have never used any hair products or any gadgets like a straightener or curling iron or even a blow dryer on my own.
I would love to learn a few simple updos, buns or fancy ponytails which would help me get my hair off the back of my neck and still look like I made an effort. Do you guys have any tips and tricks/your tutorials I can learn from? I would also love recommendations for a blow dryer. Oh and a straightening iron. I wouldn't use it daily, but for special outings with hubby! Any ideas on must have hair products to create simple hairstyles would also be appreciated.
Here's a general idea about my hair type - I have naturally straight-ish hair that comes slightly below my shoulders. I wash it every other day since it tends to get greasy. Oh and it's black with reddish brown streaks! I'm adding some pictures so you can see it
Thank you for helping! I really need it!
