Thanks for taking the time to move me off my "Goldilocks moment." (Which shall I choose? isn't just a issue for blonds, Goldilocks!).
Adelfa: You stand with my Mom and DH in preference for length! I don't think I'll come back above my shoulders, unless the layers need to be seriously reworked.
Una/Kelly: You are two of my favorite brunettes! Both of you know how important a cut is to making styling easy.
Ornella: Yes. I want it all!
Scarlet: Goes for the sleek! This is elegant, but still casual
Carter: Katherine McPhee has amazing cheekbones and hair. I like the easy wave and face framing effect, here.
PIl: Thanks for the encouragement! Even though I've rarely had a "bad cut" I always get a little nervous when I ask for something beyond a trim.
Jeannie/Aquamarine: I think I might go for more of a real bang. Winter's a good time to try this. They usually do a lot of point cutting, and a little razoring. I also have my hair "texturized" or thinned out. I still have a lot of hair! You both reminded me of the "terminology" which might be helpful when speaking to my stylist. Thanks!
Suz: My back hairline is low, too, and my head is big. Yep. Singer's melon, we call it. I think it might work to layer more seriously in the fall, and allow them to grow a little longer for spring/summer. If I do an angled "bang," I'll have to change how I put it up, but I've been there before. I'm interested in a length that still gives a sense of luxury --- a sense of being "long," but doesn't lay like a possum on my upper back, getting messed up in my clothing.
