Star-Thank-you for the advice. I have never had a toner in my hair before so I will be careful. I certainly don't want to start over.

Debbie, apparently toners with blue in are more dangerous for staining. Not a true blue that we can see but some gray and brown toners contain blue pigments. It also depends when the hairdresser applies it - at the basin or not. Toner is supposed to just sit on your hair but if your hair shafts are open, like they do with heat, it can permanently affect your color. You should do some googling on the subject as I came across a number of ladies who reported this. Now that my hair is bright silver I am apprehensive to put anything on it and maybe mess it up!

I can see a clear difference between the tone & clarity between the top & bottom half of your face. Your forehead looks clear, slightly cool w/ a bit of pink.
The stage you are in now was tough for me. I just ignored my hair on bad days.
Now I love my “stripes”
Also add to the cautions w/ toner-some colors apparently oxidize a bit according to stories I’ve read. I didn’t tone but did use a lot of Clairol Shimmer Lights purple shampoo.
