@Astrid, I think layers (done well) would be great in your hair! Especially if you want to go longer. Mine is similar in texture to yours, actually, and when the layers are bad - so is the hair! Too many layers and I'm all bushy. Not enough layers and it hangs there playing dead. Bad haircuts here in FL have been my ongoing frustration with my style (or lack thereof).

@ Elly, funny you should mention Jen Aniston. I had a pic of her in mind with my last shorter 'do. But I more often get compared to SJP or even Alanis - go figure!
@Una, I think face shape can be tricky. I know some angles make my face very thin and narrow with pointy chin but from other angles it looks more rounded and full at the jaw. Just depends . . .
