HAIR - The Appt has been made - I'm going SHORT!

Well, after this I found a stylist I like and really trust, and ended up with my current do. BUT, as much as I love my new do, it really only looks fab on the days I actually wash it - and I am a bit lazy and can't really be bothered doing that every day... It still feels heavy and hot, so I've decided to just get on with it and get a pixie do!

So, when Miss E decided she wanted a trim I made an appt for me as well YIPPEE!!

Now, the appt isn't for 5 days, so I want to gather some images to take in. And, I have to say, this one is my favourite of all the dozens of hair styles I've been looking at...

What do you all think? (I trust you guys implicitly! And I've decided I'm not telling anyone IRL what I'm doing because I know what responses I'll get!).

Thank you for all your honest opinions! Even though I've been slowly working shorter and shorter and I know you guys think I can do short hair, its still a big step!

(Oh and over the weekend I hope to catch up on everything here - a lot seems to have been posted this week!)

How exciting! I think it will look great on you and you will have lots of fun with it. Short hair is very versatile. You can make it piecey, spike it, or smooth and sleek. I love my pixie cut. Can't wait to see your results!

4. facial beauty you can't wait to show off

Going pixie short is like bungee jumping or mountain climbing. Very scary before you do it and afterwards you feel on top of the world. You go girl!

Only 2 sleeps now!!!!!

My girls are both devastated! Apparently girls have long hair - they don't even like my current length LOL But hey, they are only 4 & 6 and I let them do what they want with their hair (mostly!), and they will get over it! Still not telling anyone else though - they can just see it once its done!

Love the cut! Can't wait to see the results. I chopped off all my hair last year- or maybe 2 years ago now- and I LOVE it. It does take a bit of up-keep though- the little neck hairs need to be shaved/trimmed more often. Still, it's worth it.

I can't wait to see photos, Theresa! I love my pixie cut. It's so much easier for me to style my very uncooperative hair and it holds up even in the rain, which we get a lot of where I am!
