Thank you all so much for your lovely comments, I’m blushing here!
Classically Casual - Yes! Mireille said that it’s advised to keep the blow-drying to a minimum. Not that hard with my pixie cut (she did do a quick blow-dry), but not that simple when people have longer hair, right.
Angie - Thank you!!!-))) I’m really happy with the colour too, and the wave is fun for sure. And yes, holding thumbs that everyone can have a good experience when going to the salon.
Preppy Pear - Thank you. My hair definitely feels softer right after a salon visit no matter how often I use conditioner etc. at home.
Suz - High five fellow “pixie gal”. And thank you so much!
Janet - LOL:-)) Go for it and rock the non-salon hair for a while longer. And I know what you mean, I’ve often wished I looked better in long(er) hair like yours, but over the years I’ve realized that a short hairstyle really does work better for me.
Xtabay - Thank you, that’s very sweet.
Style Fan - It’s different in every state in the US I believe?
Joy - *chuckle*, at least DH isn’t the only one in need of a haircut right now, right?-) (That definitely helped me feel better while walking around with my out of control hair).
JAileen - Thank you! And LOL:-) I got the same reaction once when I had trimmed the part around my ears a few years ago (different hairstylist). She was not subtle about it either;-)
Taylor - Thanks so much! And my word, yes, it does indeed!-)
Jaime - I’m glad it went well for you too. And indeed, it’s definitely all about adapting right now.
Debbie and Gigi - Thank you! I’m really pleased with the colour too, and it’s quite long-lasting as well, which is a bonus.
Lyn - Thank you so much!-) I’m in awe that you can do your own haircut. That is not easy at all. And I can imagine it tires out your arms and hands:-)
Sal, kellygirl, slim cat - Thank you so much for your sweet comments.
