Taylor, not to put you on the spot, but I very hope you'll chime in on this one as I'd love your expertise. I'd welcome other opinions too, of course.
I have an appointment with my stylist on Sunday and am wondering if I should go with my tried-and-true bob, or something different, or if I should just subtly alter my bob. Photos on my blog show what my hair looks like now.
I've more or less been getting an angled bob based on this cut for a while - obviously my hair's on the longer end at the moment.
(Examples One, Two, Three, Four, and Five from shorter variations of the same cut.)
If you were my stylist, what would you advise me to do based on your knowledge of my style, face shape, etc? While I'm not the type who panics about losing length, I'd prefer to stay within a few inches of chin length, and I'm open to exploring *some* bangs.
Taylor and other experts, if it helps to have more info on my hair type: My hair is kind of on the fine side, and I have a TON of hair, so it lies very flat without a lot of layers. Razor cuts work very well on me. I have a few odd cowlicks in my hair where when my cut grows out, it will "wrinkle" by my temple or flip out at the end in a random place - I usually keep these in check with a flatiron. I color my own hair with semi-permanent dye (Clairol) and it's in pretty good condition - not frizzed or splitting. I get very oily at the hairline if I go more than a day without washing.
