Hmm, I would have chosen #4 from your original pics, Shannon, but I love #3 from Angie's pics. Honestly, you just look good with short hair, so almost no matter what you do with it you will look great!

I like number 3 and the side sweep style. Are u changing the color as well, or just the cut?

I love you with short hair, Shannon, and I think Angie's suggestion of a slightly longer top is perfect for you. You have the right attitude for that style.

You've had excellent advice here so far, but just wanted to chime in that with your beautiful face shape, I think 1 or 4 would work really well.

All of the advice you have received is good. Do whatever takes your fancy for now - cos being you hair twin as well as your style twin I know that eventually you will chop it all off again, because you are a super-short haircut gal. At the moment mine is a bit longer on top (some lovely diplomatic friends have been suggesting for some time that I grow it a bit longer, but who knows how long it will last ....), BUT I do look a bit butch with very short hair, whereas you look brilliant.

Ha ha ha Carolbee - you got that right! I'll just grow it to where it should be for a new style and then hack it all off! Are you in my head???

Ok...so I've narrowed it down to three different pixie styles that I really like. They all work with my narrow face, hair texture and should also work with my glasses, which is key. I am never without my specs so need to take that into consideration. Also because my face is fairly long and narrow, I need to be careful that I balance that with some volume on the sides and not all hair on the top of my head, which makes my face look even longer.

Obviously any of these would take some time to grow into so it would be what I'm working towards.

These are now the three new contenders - would love to hear your thoughts?

Bree - I am not changing my color. Worked too hard to grow out 23 years worth of hair color!

I don't think you can go wrong, but I love the bangs on #3!

One vote for grow the top a little. I think that is the trend right now, judging from what I'm seeing on the streets at the moment. I like #1 out the most recent pics the best.

I'm skipping all of the replies to give you my first impression. I'd love to see you try #1. I don't think 2 or 3 will look much different than you have now. #4 is pretty dramatic, but you could always grow your bangs out, heading for that look, and then start trimming back when you get the the length that works best for you. Now, to read the other responses!
