Hi Ladies

I mentioned in a thread the other day that my hair is driving me crazy and I'm not sure what to do.

It is 12 months since I stated going short and initially I loved it. I feel it is taking time to find 'my' short cut but that is what I expected.

Following my foray into all over platinum blonde, I experienced some serious breakage on my top layer of hair, which is growing out quickly, however I feel this is the source of my current hair angst as it is making my hair difficult to style, with too much length between the top and bottom layers. My other challenge is that I have worn my hair in a bob all my adult life and I have acknowledged that I am having trouble emotionally shifting from a bob to a pixie. Hence my shorter cut becomes a shortish bob and that's not really what I want.

So in addressing these two things I think taking a deep breath and going for more a genuine pixie with a long side swept fringe will

  1. Create a better shape and style, working with the shorter (broken layer)
    and
  2. finally move me more to what I had originally envisaged and finally say good bye to the bob (for now )

I have collected many many inspiration pictures but this is the one I keep going back to. I don't want too much layering and I prefer longish layers but I think this could work with very minor modifications. I would have the fringe left longer sweeping down to my ear lobe.

In desperation I made a hair appointment for tomorrow morning, so I would really appreciate your input. Do you think I am on the right track here? If it's too short and I hate it, it will be grow out in 4 week so that doesn't concern me. Do you think this general style will suit me.

I am sure my hair saga is a tad boring, but I really appreciate if you have read this and can offer your thoughts.

xxx Deborah
