Hello everyone!
First let me wish you all a very blessed 2025! You have all been so helpful to me in the past that I thought I would pick your brains again for some hair color opinions and advice. I'm vacillating between dark brown/black or a deep auburn/chestnut color. My natural color was very dark back in the day, but at 53 it is now salt and pepper, mostly salt. I'm not ready for grey yet, so that is off the table. I work in a creative field and have access to professional color etc, so no worries on that end in terms of cost or how often I need to cover roots. I like both colors equally for different reasons, and it's hard for me to be objective. Like most I am hard on myself when pressed to look at my features. My hair is wavy and on the thicker side though not as thick as it used to be post menopause. Fortunately my skin is still good and my brows are still dark, the photo with dark brown hair in black tank top is makeup free so you can see my real brows there. All of the photos were taken within the last 2 years. Depending on what I do with the color, I will shift my makeup and wardrobe accordingly. Any thoughts are most welcome!
