I am debating on whether or not to go with the flower in the hair trend. Not sure if it's too "young" for me (I am 37). What do you think about this trend?

Any ideas where I can get some nice flower pins for the hair. Some without feathers and hopefully don't look too cheap. I tried the accessories store Claire's at the mall but no luck

I like the look. I think it can look sophisticated and ladylike, depending on the type of flowers used and absence of glitter/feathers/etc. I don't know how handy you are, but honestly, it might be better to make your own. The fake flowers at craft stores are remarkably lifelike these days...and all you'd need is a glue gun or a needle and thread and an alligator clip or whatever type of hairpin you prefer.

Srujana makes good points. I also think it depends on what you wear on the rest of you. Someone like Sarah JEssica Parker can look great with a fake flower in her hair because she tends to wear hip, sophisticated clothes, whereas I worry flower-in-hair plus frilly pink sundress might look too cutesie.

I think you'd definitely pull it off with panache if you kept in mind the general idea of striking a balance. Keep us posted!
