If you're the type who deliberates, just grab some items for the day quickly and wear them. Don't take more than two minutes tops to decide. Do not second-guess your choice.

If you're someone like me who's always doing the above, stand in your closet for at least ten minutes planning out an outfit. Afterwards, write out the reasons you made for each separate component, and for the ensemble as a whole.
