Gwen Stefani fashion news - new pant silhouette

So I've been trying to figure out what happened to LAMB, Gwen Stefani's fashion line. I've only seen it recently on sample sale sites.
Well Gwen Stefani started a new line of clothing called DWP

But I always though LAMB was interesting. Even though I heard insider fashion industry rumors that she did a lot of copy catting. This is well a bit underwhelming. Though I applaud an alternative pant silhouette.

I did lust after a few LAMB pieces on eBay in the past but never saw any IRL. My avatar shoes are Harajuku Lovers (one of her lines) from 3 or so years ago and I love them. Funny that the silver heel was many seasons ahead of the trend this year.

I have nothing against slouchy trousers, especially worn in a fashion-forward, intentional way. However, unfortunately I think lines like this are just going to encourage the over-casualization (no, I do not think that's a real word) of American fashion. Heck, a lot of people feel it is just fine to wear yoga pants or sweat pants or even pajamas in public, and I think that because these pants are so unstructured they will only encourage people who see no clear distinction between slouchy/tapered/extra fabric look = fashion forward and sloppy/elastic waist and cuff/low quality pilling stretchy fabric = acceptable to wear in public because the former was shown in magazines and fashion blogs.

And I do not think that pants like this are even flattering on the majority of people (and I include myself in that category). Overall, I don't see them as being much more than a flash in the pan sort of trend. They certainly will not have staying power like denim, which can be done in almost any style, colour or silhouette.

Hm, maybe I should hoard my LAMB sandals instead of selling them, then. Sad, I really liked the brand. I also feel like we've seen crossover and harem pants already...

I've wondered about LAMB too. The site just dwindled to nothing. I have a LAMB sweater that I'm still hanging on to. I just love it. A kind of pull-over shrug. Don't know about the copycatting - the sweater is very original to me. I like the pants. I like that jumpsuit.

These remind me of a softer, baggier version of the R13 cross overs.

I think the look is finally picking up steam in the mass market. I like the look and think it's dressier than the faded, ripped skinnies and boyfriends we've been getting for the past several years. Also workplaces that don't allow denim, might allow pants like these.

Interesting pants. I think that it will take some time for my eye to get used to this. I am open to anything that is comfortable and looks good!

Well, feeling very behind the times. (Is there an acronym for that? BTT?) I love Gwen for music and have not followed LAMB at all. Not really part of the fashion scene I usually watch. AND, while I have seen DD in her Urban Outfitter harems, I haven't found any that have tempted me and fit with my style (except the silk ones Angie just posted recently).
For whatever reason ... I love these pants! Thanks for posting, Anna. I have been wearing skinnies and straights for years and am so tired of the silhouette. And I have literally been googling "drapey
pants" for the last several days to try to find some that are not too fluid, that have some tailoring and structure so could work with my style. So excited about this line and want
the camos and the black (waxed?).

I don't think these pants would flatter my figure at all. I'll pass, but I'm sure there are some will will do them justice. Like Joy, I would wear that white vest

I can get behind a drapey, slightly tapered pant for a change of pace, but please, stop with the cropped lengths already.

That said, I'll be interested to see some of this IRL. I had a pair of tencel cargo capris some years ago that were fabulously comfortable.
