Guys guys guys...otk boots!!!

I'm sure y'all will forgive me if I take a minute here to express my excitement over not only a new dress, but my first pair of long boots in literally years!!!
You see, I have insane calves. Ordinary wide width options didn't come close to fitting. Godzilla himself couldn't boast more absurd, unsightly legs then yours truly. Well, I'm not sure whether to chalk it up to weight loss, improved boot design or both, but I now have me a pair. I'm not sure if everyone will enjoy the corcet style back as much as I, but enjoy it I most certainly do.
With this scuba knit dress I feel like rolling the cuff down makes the most sense due to the knee length of the skirt, but I have also photographed them at their full length just so you can see them. I'll style them this way with a tunic at some point.
The rest of the accessories (black cropped jacket, oxblood satchel and silver necklace ), I believe you've all seen before.
Do weigh in. And if my excitement is misplaced, please just say so.

And I'm so pleased at your find, Legs can be tricky in non average sizes for us women, when I was very thin, boots were a no no as it was like wearing a pair of my dad's wellies flapping round my pins, didn't realise what I was missing out on until I put on some much needed pounds, so know how frustrating sizing can be, you look great girl xx

OK -- first the dress: It's a beautiful deep cobalt, and the abstract black print is a perfect scale and placement for you. I love the seaming around and under the bust. It highlights your shape while remaining office appropriate. The neckline opens the face and neck while keeping the cleavage under wraps. This was a great find, and you look beautiful.

The boots? Oh, I love them, and am thrilled that you found a pair that work so well. Not only do they fit, they have an upscale, rich sheen and a slender almond toe. You'll get a lot of use out of these!

With the dress, I think they look fine turned up, as long as their visual weight is balanced by the jacket.

Love the dress on you -- it's one of your best ever. As the boots go, I prefer them all the way up for a sleeker look. Worn folded down they are a bit pirate like (hope I"m not offending with that comment). The back corset lacing is so fun. I hope you wear them a lot because they are great on you.

I love that dress on you. Gorgeous. The colour is amazing and the design is perfection. Boots can be difficult to fit. Yours look great. I like them done all the way. I can see getting a lot of wear out of them.

Yay, Michelle!! So wonderful that you found some boots that fit and look great. I know what a huge challenge this can be. The cobalt dress is absolutely lovely on you.

I agree with CocoLion that they boots look best worn sleek rather than turned down, although I might like them better that way with a more casual outfit.

Love, love, LOVE the dress and the boots. I prefer the boots not cuffed with the dress, though they are versatile and wonderful and should go with almost anything. GREAT choices!

Michelle, that is such a lovely dress on you:) And those boots... wow. I do prefer them not folded down . I have similar in suede but worry that they give off too much of a pirate vibe if the are folded down lol. There is a sleekness to the look when they are not folded.
