Our guest bathroom reno is finally done! I still need to add art on the big wall next to the towel rack and accessorize the shelves, and I will probably change out the old white wastebasket and tissue holder, too.

It was a bit longer than we anticipated. Our contractor, who did such an amazing job on our powder room, had a different crew working on this project, and there were problems that had to be addressed. The owner of the company stepped in and made everything right, and we are very happy. He will also be our contractor of choice for our upcoming kitchen and master bath renovation as well.

I’m glad I approached the bathrooms by starting with the least complicated one (the powder room) and then progressively tackling the bigger jobs. Each time I learn something I apply to the next project. All the design decisions have been mine (with a bit of input from my husband), and I’m a bit of a control freak, so I take this pretty seriously!

It’s hard to get good pics because of the small space, but you get the idea. I had to include a closeup of the granite because I love the metallic flecks in it!

ETA the before pics at the end — quite a transformation!
