Guess leather jacket on sale

Inge's thread on leather jackets got me looking through the Nordstrom's sale pages and I see that this pretty Guess jacket did not sell well. Does anyone know if it has a defect or if the fit is off?

I bet it is the knit collar...I dislike any knit with leather myself:(

Yes Taylor it could be the knit. I wouldn't want the knit in a warmer climate but sitting here watching the rain pour down outside, the knit looks kind of cozy.
The second picture on the page shows two gals in diffeent lighting and there the leather looks like it has a lot of red in it which is pretty.
I have found Guess jackets to be short for me in the past but others seem to love them. Makes me wonder why this one didn't sell.

I liked this jacket and had it on a client this week! It runs small and I guess the knit collar was a drawback for some.

i think it's also an odd length for a leather jacket. most are more cropped.

I didn't see this earlier, interesting question, San.

I agree that the colour looks much more beautiful in the second picture, perhaps the brown shade in pic 1 was an issue for some? In my leather jacket thread Carole also mentioned that she has a difficult time pairing her brown leather jacket with black footwear, maybe some share this feeling?

I think the rib knit detailing might worry some people too, in my experience it always starts to pill (regardless of price point) after a while, and then your fab leather jacket just doesn't look as sharp anymore.
