I would pay a cobbler a sizable fee to replace a synthetic lining on an otherwise-leather shoe for precisely this reason. I know pleather gives me blisters, so let me buy leather shoes--oops, wait, we're going to put pleather in the blister-making place of the shoes. Facepalm. (My favorite pair of BR flats have a synthetic-lined footbed, but the upper isn't lined so it's just the back of the woven leather upper. Initially I was like, hrm, blister city with the woven texture but they've been a dream. Probably because the part touching my foot is, AMAZINGLY, actual leather.)
Does anyone know whether replacing the lining of a shoe is remotely feasible?
