When I saw Natalie's Adrianna Papell red dress she purchased at T. J. Maxx, it was instant love. I was on a T. J. Maxx mission to find this dress or something similar, since Nordstrom no longer carried my size.

Here's Natalie's original post: http://goldenpig.lookfab.com/p.....ed-leopard

Would you believe there was this one lone dress, a size 2, my size, hanging all alone and just waiting for me! It was "instant love" all over again and this time it was a Lauren by Ralph Lauren dress.

Natalie, your beautiful T. J. Maxx find, the Adrianna Papell red-draped jersey dress was stunning and there was nothing left at Nordstrom where only a few were remaining. On a lark, I decided to “be like Goldenpig” and go to the T. J. Maxx, in Costa Mesa.

I was using my laser focus shopping technique with little success and thought it was time to go when I went to the dresses section one last time and there, hanging by itself, was “my size” a Lauren by Ralph Lauren cranberry red dress with ruching on the side and it looked so much like Natalie’s Adrianna Papell dress and it was mine!

To think your post was written on my actual birthday made it a bit sweeter, because that was a bit of birthday inspiration. Thank you, Natalie, for this great inspiration.

I plan to wear this to see “La Cage Aux Folles” next month. The necklace I'm wearing came from a colleague who was traveling in the Provence region of France. I'd been to the same market, but missed buying one of these beautiful necklaces and on her second trip back, she managed to pick one up for me, in colors that can be enjoyed with so many different outfits. I wore animal print pumps and an animal print cuff bracelet.

Hope you enjoy my Natalie-inspired dress! ^_^
