Grey, or is it gray? good, bad, or meh

I picked up a simple basic tee yesterday. I was looking for a replacement for my white v-neck, but it's still got life in it, so I thought I'd expand and pick up a color I don't have.
I only recently realized there could be warm and cold grey tones. (When I found my grey maxi tye dye seems to match none of my colors, sigh). Is this a fine color on me? Or should I go for a different tone?
By the way, if you're looking for a white tee that's not see through and is 100% cotton but still soft and has some drape - Kmart Route 66 are $8. I sized up to a medium and it's just roomy enough on me (37" bust and 25" length).http://www.kmart.com/route-66-.....lockType=G
No makeup, natural lighting to hopefully best decide on color flattery.

Your cool grey (or gray) tee looks almost blue to me and very pretty with your coloring. I wear a lot of g/g, usually with denim, camel, or khaki bottoms to avoid the mismatched monotones. (Black with g/g is too harsh on me.)
Thanks for the heads up on the tee. I admire your style and your practicality. You find great buys at Kmart and elsewhere and then can afford truly special pieces. Brilliant!

I had no idea gray could be cool or warm toned (I have so much to learn!). I think this shade looks good on you. Thanks for the heads up about the KMart tees - I'll have to run in before they go out of business.

BTW, to answer the question in your title, gray is American and grey is British (I'm a wierdo nerdy grammar girl).

First: if you're English, Australian or Canadian, it's grey. If you're American, it's gray.

Second: tee shirt looks great on you! I think the colour (not color, because I'm Canadian!) works and I love the drape.

The colour is nice. I find the style a little less than modern though. Though fine for kicking around in for $8.

Ooh, the grammar nerd in me likes to know these things!! Thanks. I thought grey for skies and gray for hair for some reason. As an aside, I find it funny that blonde is for ladies and blond is for men.
Angie, point taken about the not most modern style. It is a sized up version of a pretty basic, slightly fitted tee. But it is a lot less stiff than the standard $10 tee and so will drape great after a few washes (and is quite soft - a very important factor for tees for me). I like the subtle double v raw seam detail at the neckline, too.
But, funny story, when I went to the gym last Sunday with BF, and was only doing weights, I didn't have a 'plain old tee' to put on. I had my technical wicking running tops, but they don't cover my shoulders and I didn't want to sweat on the machines. I ended up in one of BF's tees. So there ya go. Wardrobe hole - gym tee. LOL Yes, I will wear it casually, too, I'm sure with shorts to grill burgers and such.

Update: after washing warm and drying med heat it is 35" bust and just over 24" length. So, more like a standard tee fit, not as fluid.

I love my greys, and think there are cases when they read more sophisticated than a bright white! I think it's a cool grey, and like it on you! Fluid fit was also good(but did you say has shrunken after 1 wash???Oh my!!!)

I learned this when i got a really large, artist-grade set of colored pencils. Those sets come with about 8 - 10 different greys -- half warm, half cool, in different saturations.

This one looks like a cool tone to me too.
