Grey or black shoes?

I am moving away from black as the core of my work wardrobe even though it is of course so 'handy'. I have 2 nice pair of black work shoes (pics 2 and 3), but have found a lovely pair of shoes with a little higher heels - in black AND in grey. Which will I buy? The grey aligns with the new neutrals I am moving towards and goes with many of my work clothes. Black is black and 'goes with everything'. I have fussy feet so finding TWO pairs is a miracle... What do you think? Here are the new grey babies in photo 1...

I agree grey is versatile and the light color is leg lengthening. I believe that if you find a pair of shoes that are comfortable and stay on (important with pumps), you should buy them in multiples.

I would go for grey as I think it's far more versatile than black. Also, I agree with CocoLion - if you have problems with finding the right shoes for you, buy those grey beauties in black as well, if your budget allows.

I have grey tall boots, booties and wedge pumps in grey and find them really versatile. Honestly I think that grey "goes" with much more than the black, it is softer and more complimentary to many colors. And you already have 2 pairs of black shoes...

Grey is lovely! There's a coworker who rocks grey pumps with a ton of different outfits that I normally would have worn black shoes with, and it looks fab.

Grey! I, too, have been moving away from always wearing black shoes. I've discovered that it really is true that shoes in greys, taupes, and a sort of taupe-y brown work surprisingly well as neutrals. Many, many times this fall I have been delighted with how non-black footwear changes my outfit. In my case, as my dark-brown hair goes more grey, such softer neutrals in my footwear and purses really appeal.

Grey! Although, since I remember you being a blonde, I think you could use at least one good pair of nude/taupes, as well. Great for bookending and they go with everything.
