Angie's blog post today about her choices in grey made me go back to my photos to see what I did with the color this Winter, given it was a HEWI for me most of last year in my fave shade of dove. I have blinders for the color in most of its variations, and while I don't think it brightens up my face or anything so positive, I also don't think it drains me like optic white does. I do however love that it creates a low-contrast outfit with white, which is a color that I struggle to wear in a high-contrast way. Here's an outfit I've enjoyed as a way to incorporate some tonal looks into my dreary, rainy Seattle Winter. Also, some finds to my favorite dovish grey, silver, silver holo and metallic pieces. The booties are lighter than the photo and the tennis shoes are actually high tops.
