Grey s simply an amazing hair color for you...I cannot believe how warm and lively it makes your complexion. I'm so glad you took the plunge...your hair looks better than ever, dare I say even edgier than black?!

Thanks ladies! As I said, pure luck! A young gal I asked me how I got my hair like this and I said "I got older. And it was free!"

OMG, Your hair is a beautiful color!!!

This beautiful photo gives me some food for thought as I anticipate my first coloring with a new salon and stylist tomorrow. The sharp contrast with the super darks strands really makes the look. You rock natural!

It is gorgeous. It's funny when you get that question, "oh, who did your color?" or things like that, as the one woman has asked you already. I used to get that, when mine was less gray, and more striking in the front. And I wondered who would color their hair gray, but I guess when it looks that good, people assume it's "done." Your comeback is so true--great that it's free!

Looks awesome!

Your hair is stunning. Because I am newish to YLF I was not aware that this was your natural colour, it looks so great, I thought you had an amazing colourist!

It's perfection.

Now, that's a fabulous reward for seeing a project through. The colour is stunning and dramatic. Great outcome.

Stunning! You look really beautiful:). I'm considering following in your footsteps as my white/grey increases;)

Your hair is beautiful, Una

I also can't believe it's been 11 months. Your silver hair suits you perfectly!!

Beautiful grey highlights!

I love that a young woman asked how you achieved the look. That is high praise indeed. The color and variation really is quite stunning and it works perfectly with your skin. If only we were all so blessed.

Well I couldn't be more delighted. I only wish we could go out for a glass of wine and discuss the entire situation. You look stupendous!

I think I've already said I love it but maybe not -- so LOVE IT and agree it looks better against your skin. Though thought it had only been 6 months!

I'm also envious of you being on the other side, as I'm only 3 months in and trying to rock nature's ombre. So funny how I went from hating a 1/2 inch of grow-out to not caring I have 3 inches of silver showing at work and play. Hope mine ends up being half as awesome on me as yours is on you!

I love it. And to be honest, from your previous pictures I thought you highlighted your hair. It looks really great, like you paid big $$'s to a celebrity hair stylist.

Wow - this is very inspirational to me. I've been 'off the forum' for quite some time but just had to comment because your hair looks beautiful. I'll be following in your footsteps as I just learned I'm allergic to permanent hair dye. I was a little freaked out, but seeing how great your hair looks is so encouraging!

Your hair is looking really beautiful Una!

OMG thank you all so much! A friend commented on it today at basketball. It does feel lighter and more illuminating to my skin somehow. Huge thanks to all my fab inspiration here - Shevia, Joy, Aliona, Elizabeth P, Jaileen, Sharan, and I know there are many others who shared pics and encouragement.

You look incredible Una. Just gorgeous. I love how you look with your hair against the shade of blue you're wearing too - can't get over how perfect.

I've let my hair go gray several times but it sure didn't look like yours does. Mine was mouse brown and frizzy. I would love to have your beautiful hair but I don't, so I get highlights every two months. Lucky you!!!

It looks great and seems to have more life& shine in its natural state!

You look fantastic!

Love the ombre color and the edgy cut. Grey couldn't be any more gorgeous! YLF Una!

(and waving at Fruitful--good to see you again!)

Beautiful!!! I'm so glad you stuck it out. Those first few months are rough but so worth it. You look amazing!

Now I want gray hair too.

I want hair like this, too! Una, you look GREAT!
