Great Trenchcoat Trick!

I've not found my perfect trench yet. I tried on a cobalt Steve Madden that, let's just say, was definitely NOT vanity sized. Sigh. I got some great inspiration on how to wear a typical khaki trench with style at http://therichlifeonabudget.blogspot.com

At last count, I have 17 scarves (not counting winter things). Surely I have one that would work like this. If I only had a coat!

Thanks Beth Ann, I really like this idea. I have a black trench that is a little shorter than this and I think this idea would work beautifully. It would be a fun way to add color to the black. Its not cooler enough here yet, but when it is Im all over this. Very clever.

What a pleasant surprise to find this great fashion site/forum today! I joined up right away.

Thank you for linking my post here. I really love the scarf belt on my trench so much that it seems odd to wear the belt the trench came with. It is such an easy way to liven up an otherwise dull outfit.
