I bought 2 pair of the Martie pants from JCrew back in February, loved the fit, and have worn them both a number of times. I recently washed the khaki pair (cold water, gentle cycle, line dry) but the pants shrank (about 1 1/2 inches and were tighter around the waist, etc.) I emailed JCrew about this problem and within 24 hours they had responded with an offer to return the pants for a full store credit. Just thought I'd point out a retailer doing a nice job.

PS If any of you have the Martie pants- I'd recommend dry cleaning which is what I'll be doing with the black pair that still fits well!
