Great! I needed this post. Just this morning I realized my favorite shoes are five years old and there is nothing out there at present that can replace them. I just wish I had the nerve to toss out all my semi-new boring stuff.

Great post!

I went through both Kohls and JCP last week and was overwhelmed by the chaos. It was like a scene from that VeggieTale video, Madame Blueberry ......."Stuffmart." I couldn't look at or touch anything, I just wanted to escape, and I noticed the plastic smell more than anything else. Strangely enough, Target didn't affect me this way. This particular location is well managed and tidy. But I still stuck to my grocery list!

I came home and went directly to my closet. Whew! Yeah, there's more than necessary for sure. I'm hardly a "curator." But there is order and cohesion, and what's there works for my life. Next up......better quality, better focus, better fun.
