Got my satchel (and want another)!!!

I received the Scaramanga satchel (http://www.scaramangashop.co.u....._1013.html) that my husband bought me for Valentine's Day I love it! I think the colour and finish is FAB and it has lots of space inside. The only annoying thing is the fact that I have to unbuckle the buckles every time I want to use the bag, but I knew that when I bought it and I'll get used to it.

I have narrow shoulders and most handbags slide off them, so I love the idea of a cross body one. I also appreciate how this one has a faux buckle with a magnetic buckle, so I can open it easily.

What do you ladies think of the one I got and the one I'm planning to get?

OMG !! I just LOVE it...actually, I love them both ! Great choice. I really love the fact the second one has the faux buckle. It will make it so much easier to use. I have to say that is what drives me crazy about buckle on bags. I just end up not buckling them.

I prefer real buckles for security but then I haven't had a bag where I had to deal with buckling/unbuckling them.

Yay, it came! I love it! Can you wear it unbuckled? I would think the weight of the flap would keep it closed (unless you're on the subway or something and want the security of having it fastened). I wonder if a cobbler could undo the sewing and put on a snap for you, rendering the buckle decorative only. Just a thought. Love the pending satchel, too, naturally. You have great taste!

I love the second cross-body bag with the faux buckle. So cute! I would be annoyed to no end by the first one with the real buckles.

Diana: Nope, the satchel isn't heavy by itself. And it currently has one huge notebook, one huge textbook, a folder, a notepad, my wallet and it still isn't tough to carry

Claire: I know, I'm so happy it does stay closed unbuckled... and that's a great idea but I think I'm okay with the buckles only because I know I have to unbuckle it once when class starts and then buckle it up again once it ends, it shouldn't be too annoying!
