Hi all! I’m still around but heavily embroiled in preparing to put my apartment on the market. More on that below for those who are interested.
In the meantime, we are trying to save money but I wanted some thing for my birthday next week. I made a little money from consignment recently, so I put it towards some silver Chucks. I need more stuff right now as I try to purge and get ready to move like I need a hole in the head... but come on. Look at them!
My bathroom mirror is now gone. We had the apartment painted and I never liked it anyway. I will get a better mirror once I move. Right now, I love my clothes that I kept on hand are hard to get out, so you’ll see a few repeats here in my recent outfits right now. Many clothes that I kept on hand are hard to get out from under the bed storage, so you’ll see a few repeats here in my recent outfits that I managed to snap photos of. But that’s okay. The Wit & Wisdom jeans that show up a few times from NAS are the comfiest I own. Heavy rotation already.
One of these pictures was taken in a hotel room because we went there for a couple nights with the cats well the apartment was painted. The cats were not happy and it was... not fun. The apartment looks great now, but the painters missed some areas in the kitchen and probably need to come back and do like one more hour of work.
It was a lot of work to put half our stuff in storage and then prep for the painters. Next, we need to put some art back up, move furniture back into place and other tasks to prep for the photographer to come. I am exhausted and keep waking up in the middle of the night for no reason. Then I stay awake because my mind races with all that needs to get done.
No word yet on when the paperwork for our new place will be done (city red tape exacerbated by the pandemic). We accepted this uncertainty when we bought a new condo (building is about 6 years old but wasn’t condos at first). So we just have to wait and see.
Anyway, wanted you all to know that I’m alive!
