I had meant to say, Amy, that your Crown Vintage oxfords were truly outstanding. They really are you. I am not going there because I have my Cole Haans and need to start wearing them more! But shoes! Shoes! I never thought I would become this person. (For me, the Jeffrey Campbells might be something I'd grow to love...)
Tri color!! I like the top of the shoe.. but the chunky heel might be a little to high for my taste. If I find myself at Nordstom soon (who am I kidding, WHEN) I am totally trying these on.
So, I have been needing a pair of heels. My only option this winter has been my black boots, and my options do not look better heading into Spring. I was looking for a pair of basic black pumps suitable for Fall, Winter, and Spring. Would I be crazy to get these instead? I'd wear them with dresses, skirts, and pants for teaching and with jeans on the weekend. Thoughts?
Angie, I was just contemplating these very same shoes! I LOVE them, but I'm struggling with what I would wear them with...do you think they would make a good addition for me? Since all of my pants are hemmed to a much higher heel height?
I'm turning into a shoe junky. Clothes are nice. But I fantasize about footwear.
For anyone contemplating oxfords like these, I think you'd be surprised at how often you can wear them. I wear my B/W ones a lot and get compliments from strangers. They're just so darned fun and unexpected.
