You've almost persuaded me to keep it, and I probably will for a few more months. I wore it again with a cotton sweater and it does fit a bit better, but it is still heavy and squeaks a lot when I move. Low pitched squeak--what do you call that?
Today I put on my lighter weight Lafayette 48 jacket I bought at NAS 8 years ago. Didn't wear it for a couple of years--weight gain. Now I can wear it, still tight in middle, but it always was. More expensive than the black, nice lightweight leather, indoor jacket, not too noisy, and an easier color to wear year round. Much more comfortable than the black one.
While i don't like to keep unworn items for a long time, I think the black one may be worthwhile to keep for a few more months at least. In this crazy world, who knows what will happen next and what I might need?
For fun, I clipped these from old posts. Bordeaux jacket shown a little over a year ago for out-to-dinner, and apparently when I first got it. Hint hair color and tag hanging from sleeve. Oh, and it didn't fit so great zipped 8 years ago. Have to laugh at myself here.
