Summer, round necks are usually really bad on my giraffe neck-narrow shoulder-short hair body type. But the ones I have somehow work really well. I guess they are structured in all the right places. Their low contrast colours help too.

I found round necks work better on me if they are higher and not so scooped. Gives more visual structure.

The bolero is "just flattering enough" on me -- but truly would work better on someone with a long neck. My hair is longer than usual at the moment, which isn't helping. I think when I crop it shorter again soon, this one will work better. A tall, long necked, younger colleague of mine also has this jacket and it's true it looked better on her. But I like it enough I'm determined to get it to work.

The other one -- I like the color a lot and the lapel is more flattering. I disagree with the bad review it got. I like that it's lightweight and the tweed isn't overly thick as it doesn't add unnecessary pounds, as many tweed jackets can tend to do.

That said I also bought this jacket -

Is it just me or are jackets back in again? I haven't added a new one in eons, as pickings seemed to be slim. I've been hankering for jackets lately to up my game at the office.

Those are the 3 I will be stalking too. I wore a jacket today with cropped jeans and a graphic tee. The jacket makes me so much happier than a cardigan does. I need to replenish. Angie, thank you for showing us these goodies. I also am drawn to the navy floral.

If it helps, here is me wearing the AT bolero. Yes, with "sweans" ...printed sweatpant jeans... I still have them!!... looks better with regular jeans but I threw this on for a picture for Tanya and Joy ...

I think it would look infinitely better on both of you, as you are both more delicate in the shoulders than I am. This is 4P for me, if that helps.

Thanks for posting these. I had written them off for the boxy shape, which doesn't seem to flatter me, and the fringe details which are outside of my style comfort range, but the textured white belted BR one looks perfect for me! Found one in stock as well in a size that will likely work perhaps with a little tailoring. In the white, is this a purely spring time item or can it span other seasons? I suppose when it arrives I will have a better sense of the fabric weight.
