When I picked up my Moss Mollie from the ex, he told me she wasn't feeling well. Call him the king of the understatement, because this baby was sick. She wasnt as sick as back in February when she had a bout of pneumonia, yet she was still sick. I got her to a veterinarian a couple of miles from my new abode, and he did xrays and told me he thought it was cancer. He sent the images off for a 2nd opinion, and they thought it could be a tumor.
Her appointment with the oncologist was this morning. They did more xrays, this time without her little legs blocking their view of her lungs. The good news: it's not cancer. It's an infection. The bad news is that she's afraid Miss Mollie's little body has encapsulated the infection in a cyst that won't respond to antibiotics, in which case they want to remove that lobe of her lung.
For now, I'm holding out hope that these "big gun" super high powered antibiotics they gave her do the trick. The ex says if it comes to surgery, he will talk to his friends that treated her pneumonia pro bono back in February. He's also going to see if they can get us this medicine I have a written scrip for THAT NOBODY IN MY STUPID TOWN CAN FILL. If I had known it was going to be so hard to find, I'd have filled it down in Dallas before I came home.
I'm so happy that my baby doesn't have cancer that I ain't even mad at target for not letting me return the pants I ordered off the internet LOL.
Mollie has awakened from her nap and I need to try and get her to eat. She's still pouting over being poked and X-rayed this morning, and doesn't feel real well, so she's being finicky. I'll take it, because finicky eating is better than cancer
