Hubs took me birthday shopping yesterday, for lunch at Nordie's cafe (with cake!) and to JC Penney for JEANS! Ah jeans, the ultimate in casual chic, they always make me feel pulled together in a relaxed sort of way. I felt like I was back-to-school shopping, and a feeling of Fall descended upon me like a 64-pack of crayons with built-in sharpener.

The first Levi's (#1-4) are teal in color (Amazon is the name), sized-up skinnies. Dig the cute dual belt loops, and dreamy pocket details. I can't believe how much I like this color, it goes with everything in my closet! I have been creating a casual capsule around orange and blue, so these fit in beautifully and go with all of my orange and rust tops. These colors are anchors of my "Sedona Sister" persona, because they are the color of the gorgeous red rocks next to a swiftly-flowing creek.
The second pair (#5-8) are a nice weathered denim blue with some good grainy texture. They are curvy bootcuts, and if I feel creative I may turn them into flares with a gusset from the spare material I'm going to cut off. They have sassy stitching on the seat and are very comfortable.
