Hi everyone,

I would like to get your opinions please on the 2 pairs of loafers I bought recently.

-I think the shape of the toe box on the hair calf loafer is awkward--a little masculine? I wore them once but then put them in donation bag. Do you agree with my assessment? I could rescue them if I am wrong.

-Although the DVs are trendy and ALGO (studs/animal print/tassels), I like them with dark denim and a white shirt or column of black. Are they OK?

What size shoe do you wear? Since I have long feet, I'm super sensitive about the shape of the toe in all my shoes. I wonder if that was why you didn't like them? or were they not comfortable?
If you felt they were too masculine, there are plenty of ways to combat that in the rest of the outfit. So as the first 2 ladies said, let's see some photos

I have ordered and returned at least a dozen pair of leopard loafers recently. The two I had before and loved were both just too tight in the toe box to be comfortable for all-day wear. Two more arrived this weekend, and finally, I think they're both keepers. One is more casual spring/summer (canvas), and the other is calfhair and a bit more substantial. I also have another pair (slipper style) that should arrive tomorrow to try. I'm not sure why it has been so difficult to find the right pair(s).

I like them both, too! It's all in the styling. And the comfort. if they are not comfortable - let them go.

I need to start posting pics but I'm nervous. I made myself join April's challenge and every a.m. I check to see if my number is up. Silly 'ol shy me!

I know it is the best way to learn.

PS: Sunee--I have size 9 feet but am just under 5'9" so I'm OK with my foot size.

I like them, but I think it will be a question of how you style them.

Are the comfortable? That earns a lot of points in my book, and i won't keep shoes that are not, no matter how pretty (looking at 4 pairs of pointy toed flats that have all been returned!)

the studs on the leopard add a really nice detail, and imo neither of these looks masculine.

I would find the animal print ones easier to wear too. I have discovered I have some challenges when it comes to masculine footwear. I'm not quite sure what the source problem is... but I just look like I'm wearing my brother's shoes. Maybe I'm not dainty enough, maybe I'm too girly.

I also like the "edge" the animal print brings a lot.

I have always liked loafers but lately I was thinking maybe they were to frumpy for me. I guess it's all in the way you wear them. Good to know!

I love both!! The black with tassels look more classy to my eyes. If you team them with trendier outfits they would look chic imo. Now I will wait for you to post some pics of yours I don't mind headless as you know
