Still on vacation in the U.K. The weather is gorgeous today and folks in the seaside community of Southport have eschewed black for colour! I've seen a pink maxi with cold gladiator sandals, and a 'pensioner' dressed top to toe in acid green! However this post is not about street style, but rather what I picked up!

You see, left to my own devices, while DH is out at golf, I have been visiting the plentiful shops in this shoppers paradise. (I could weep at the availability of trousers labelled 'long'.). As a SA who helped me said, 'you're allowed to go a bit mad!'

What I got...stretch navy skirt ( below the knee), black and white Dalmatian print sweater, nightgown (to replace the one I left behind in London) and leather booties. M&S was full of things I loved and where I got the first 3 items. The booties are Russell and Bromley, and they are just divine! I wore them for 6 hours today without any foot issues.

These are all very classic items, but things I could never get where I live, so it is a treat for me to find them.
