I've been on the watch for a Barbour coat for a while. Decided to try a few choices to see if I could find a solid fit. I tried 3 styles, all the same size, all with a bulky sweatshirt underneath and was surprised the variation in fit!

Waxed Cotton Canvas Coat - too big. Could have fit another coat underneath this one. Also the shape was almost A-line - bigger at the waist/hips than at the bust line.

Cavalry Diamond Quilted Jacket - too small. Very straight cut, and barely zipped over the sweatshirt. Not flattering

Millfire Diamond Quilted Jacket - just right. Love the juniper color and the gray/juniper plaid lining. Fit over the sweatshirt with just the right amount of room, and has an adjustable drawstring to tighten at the waist. It was love at first try on, and I'm sure will get a lot of wear this fall!
