Going to have to educate DH...

So today, I wore my bootcut embroidered cropped jeans today with floral sneakers and observed DH keep peeking at the hemline trying to be nonchalant about it.... I guess I am going to have to educate him that they are suppose to be cropped and no, I am not wearing high waters...lol
This might be too much for his more conservative brain to handle...

When I wore them with my wedges , he didn't give them a second glance... I love that they can be styled both with heels or flats and he is just going to have to get use to them, because Fall is coming!

You look lovely...I love the colours. It's not just men...I was wearing some cropped jeans with raw hems and a friend couldn't keep her eyes off my hems(they have just started selling in the shops here and noone wears them where I live....but was trying to not look...I was about to start laughing.

Haha! Men are so funny. This happened to me last night, Tracey; our husbands might be from the same planet.

I had my sweater semi-tucked, and he walked into the kitchen behind me and started pulling it all out of the waistband: "Something's wrong with your sweater. It looks really weird." Um, yes. FASHION. hahha!!

Lovely outfit.

In general, I have found that it takes men much longer to get used to something their eye finds unusual, usually something new. When skinnies first burst onto the scene after years of bootcuts my-then-boyfriend kept commenting how 80's they looked in bad way. I just shrug and ignore most of the time, unless it's some special date night etc. when I want them to like the actual outfit.

LOL -- My hubby has been known to give me the "stink eye" over some of my fashion choices... this season it has been the cropped flares that are not making any sense to him. He is Mr. Normcore, so I do not bother to explain. I just wear and enjoy.

Anyway, you look fabulous and on trend. I love your attitude -- yes, he will just need to get used to them.

Well, last night I caught him looking again , so I spoke up and he laughed and said indeed he was thinking I was wearing high waters and trying to decide how to approach the subject. I told him they were bootcut cropped jeans and that cropped pants are part of my wardrobe and that he had better get use to them because I love them and plan to wear them a lot in the Fall and Winter. He just shrugged his shoulders and laughed. I don't care if he likes them , just that he stops with those sideways looks, so hopefully that problem is solved, lol

My husband doesn't get the semi-tuck either. I haven't worn my flare crops yet, so that should be interesting
