Michael and I had our version of the Angie and Greg shopping day this weekend (a week early, my birthday is next Sunday). Michael is not an active participant like Greg, I should note. He's in it for the conversation and the food, but when it comes to the shopping he likes to find a comfortable chair and hang out on his phone and wait for me to come out in something so he can nod and agree with me.
I ended up getting a number of new things but the most special are below, and there was a clear French theme: a pair of Bedhead pajamas with a Paris motif (from a Chestnut Hill boutique called Portobello Road), and trouser jeans and a georgette boho-ish top from French brand Gerard Darel (which were on special discount at Bloomingdales). The brand is only available stateside at select Bloomies, I think, although widely available in France.
I'll be wearing the jeans and top out to dinner this weekend, so I'll post a photo. Just wanted to share the items for now.
