Glasses shopping trip photos - opinions please

I went glasses shopping today and tried on a ton of things. Here are the photos from one store (I went to two, but I didn't take any pictures at the second because they had a lot of the same things and the different stuff wasn't any good.) I took photos of pretty much everything I tried on that I didn't say "no" to immediately, so there are a lot (and they're not great). Please excuse the little blond pigtails, it was either hold her and take the pictures or chase her around the store and get nothing done.

Are any of these any good? Am I heading in the right direction at all? I do have a couple of favorites, but I'm not telling which they are until I get some opinions.

I am no expert but I'll take a stab. As far as shape goes, I think I like #3 and #14 - to me it look like your eyes are most close to being centered in those (I might be totally offf!). I noticed that all of them are about the same color, or at least it looks that way in the pictures, and I feel like you should try experimenting with color a little more. Maybe something with blue or turquoise?

I like the ones that are more squared off on the sides- I think the second ones were one of those, and the other ones shaped similarly.

I liked the shapes of 5, 12, and 22... but the color of most of those seem harsh on you. I agree with Khris- the ones with the squared sides were better than the more round ones.

13, 18, and 16 are my favorites from a shape perspective, but I also think the color is rather heavy. Like Marianne my instinct was something from the blue family. Mine are honey brown but with turquoise inner rims. Inner rim color is a great way to soften a harsh outer frame color.

I like 2, 3, 6 (red?),11 (like that blue and I think that shape too),13,14 (or are they the same pair?)and 18,
I do like the thicker rims as opposed to 22-24.
Wow what troopers you and your daughter are! That surely was no easy feat! I hope you find a pair you are excited about. There are quite a few that look very nice on you. Can't wait to see which you choose!

This will probably not help, but I'm rather for the rounded styles than the square ones as I thought they open up your face. I was not a fan of the ones that have a very thick dark frame on the side (know what I mean? like #25)

Overall the frames looked nice, but there wasn't the one that wowed me really. I think you might experiment with totally different looks, too.

Thanks guys! I'll try again another day. I tried on a bunch of different colors, too, but they all seemed , I don't know, too juvenile or something (or too bright, like all you noticed was the glasses). I'll try another store next time to see if they have softer colors.

okay, I just went through them again and this time I liked 2,5,10 and 24.
here's some observations...
some of them were too narrow on your face (like 4) and again, I don't think the ones that are rounded at the sides are flattering on you
Some of the ones I saw and thought, oh this would be perfect if the top half was this darker color and the bottom half was a much lighter color. So maybe look for some that have some like that and see what you think...

18 was my favorite (well, it tied with #11, but I felt slightly weird about that one knowing it's Hilary Duff brand - nothing like wearing teeny-bopper glasses at 31, right?). I'll have to go back and write down some information on them (and check out if it comes in other colors just to see) because I don't even remember what brand they were! (I can guess from the picture about where they were in the store, but that's about it).

I went back to day to see if they had #18 in any other colors (they didn't) and take another look at it. It's no wonder Angie likes that one - the little angled lines on the outer corners aren't etching - they're lines of tiny studs!
