At the moment, I have two primary pairs of specs that are both kind of a similar vibe - medium weight plastic lenses with contrasting inner color - but one pair is black with white on the inside and the other are burgundy with turquoise inside. I usually choose which of the two pairs to wear depending on whether my outfit is featuring black or brown as its primary neutral. Both frames, however, are about the same level of formality - I don't really have a "dressy occasion" pair of specs, but the pairs I have would be fine for a semi-formal occasion.
I usually prefer to leave off earrings when I wear glasses, or else wear earrings but leave off my normal necklace instead. If I were to wear earrings + necklace + glasses it would feel like too many accessories in one area.
