Just sort of browsing since my DH is taking a nap and getting some much-needed rest from my craziness. It is kinda tough to focus on summer/crossover footwear when so many winter boots are going on sale!

Mainly I wanted to know if you see any glaring issues with these. I could just order a bunch and send back the rejects, but it'd be nice to eliminate some.

#1 are SO cute, and I'm really tempted, even though I think the super flat sole would make my feet look like kyaks.

#2/7 are both faux shagreen (sharkskin/rayskin) and seem like they just might qualify as UWP sandals.

#8. The rest seem duplicative to what you already own. #2 and #7 look practical and comfortable, but not super stylish. Are you looking for style or function?

Rae I find it hard to see you in anything but boots:).#1 is cute. Worth a try. #7 looks cool for a sandal and the boots are all interesting with the exception of #5 which I just find ok. May I ask where #6 are from? They would be my must have in this bunch.

You know what, I'm slapping myself right now, because there ARE a lot of duplicates here. I have black and brown strapped boots as well as my sand colored Report booties. D'oh! #8 would allow me to wear bootcuts at work...

Denise, you don't like the sandals? I'm so picky about my sandals, and it seems like I never like styles that are "in." I've had most luck with comfort brands that mainly cater to older women - Softspots, Worishofer...

Oh yeah, and there are these that I tried on at DSW! Lower heel than the Lucky version I ogled last summer.

Rae, the sandals have a clog sole and remind me of my work shoes. Which I wear ALL the time (both on and off work). So yes, I love comfort shoes like these, but I don't wear them as a style statement.

I think shoes that cater to older women can look incredibly cute on young women. You can wear Worishofers & the like as a chic (anti?) style statement.

If you're looking for an intersection of style meets function, I like the DSW pair. They probably are not as walkable as the first sandals you've pictured, however.

loved 5 & 6. how would you style 6 for spring?

My favorites are 3 and 6 of this lot, but I think 6 might be too light for your skintone. 1 appeals to your playful side and love of things cat, but the flatness could be an issue for you? I'd have to see the sandals on you to judge for sure. On their own I see old lady clunky comfort shoes (even in the cool finishes) but you might be able to counteract that.

Uh-oh. I'm not adoring any of these. Can't put my finger on why - maybe because they're so out of season for me right now. They are all cute but none scream "BUY ME, RAE!" to me....

(Just wanted to point out, as a fellow long-footed shortie, that the shoe shape in #1 is surprisingly not super elongating! I have a gold pair of slipper flats and they make my feet look quite normal )
