I received a job offer that I think I'm going to accept, so this weekend I spent some time going through my closet to take a look at my professional wardrobe. While doing so, I came across a few items that no longer fit (all in the size 0P-2 range, and I am now wearing size 4s), and I thought someone here might like them. If you're interested in any of these, please let me know. I'm happy to give them away, but only ask that you reimburse me for the shipping if it is more than a couple of dollars (and I'll ship it in whatever manner you prefer). This new job is a government position, so that means goodbye law firm salary and hello budget.
Photo 1.) Ann Taylor scoopneck silk dress. This is size 0P and hit me right at the knee. I have an average-length torso and short legs, but never found the torso to be short on this dress. It is fitted through the bodice and the skirt is an a-line. I loved this dress so much and found it to be very versatile--works for work, going out somewhere nicer (since it is silk) and I even wore it to a wedding and a funeral. Caveat: I'm not sure if this was dry-cleaned after the last time I wore it because I do see some white deodorant marks under the arms.
Photo 2.) BCBG rust-colored v-neck jersey dress. I only wore this dress two or three times. It is a size small, and since it is jersey knit it stretches. I generally wore this dress when I was a size 0-2, and now that I am a 4 I find that it is too snug around my belly. If you have a very flat tummy, you might be able to wear this as a size 4. It hits me a few inches below the knee. It has a deep v-neck and ruching around the waist. It strikes me as a very Jean dress.
Photos 3-4.) Betsey Johnson lavender and fuschia dress. This is never worn and still has the tags on it (purchased on sale at the outlets for $69, originally $209). It fits like a slip dress, and has some stretch. The size is P, which is Betsey Johnson's smallest size. Hit me at the upper calf. The color is difficult to describe, but it's kind of falls between lavender and slate grey. The second photo shows the detail of the embroidery. If you need a better photo of this one, let me know.
Photos 5-6.) Ann Taylor black lace dress. This was worn once. It is a size 0, and is fitted through the waist, and has an a-line skirt. It has two layers--a black underlayer, and a black lace overlay. It hit me a little bit below the knee. I have included two photos--the second shows the detail of the lace.
Photo 7.) Shoshanna mini-skirt with strawberries. Size 2--I wore this when I was wearing size 0s and 2s. This is another item I only wore 2-3 times. It hit me a few inches above the knee, and since I have short legs, I'm going to guess this would be a miniskirt on most people. I have no idea if it is the style of anyone here, but I adored it. It is a white pique fabric with a red polka-dotted button placket going down the front of the skirt. It has strawberries embroidered near the hem, which is scalloped.
If you want any of these, let me know.
