I’m enjoying reading the posts from his fellow fashion professionals / designers buyers / journalists etc. I had an ad torn from a magazine that I had pinned to my imaginary inspiration board of one of his suits. His stylists’ choices of models and hair / makeup really spoke to me back in the day .

He was a king of relaxed elegance. I have admired his designs since 1980, the first time I read an article (with beautiful pics) about him and his work. And his first perfume for women, simply called "Armani", was one of the best I ever had.
