I’m motivating myself to lose weight by coming up with outfits to wear later. If someone wants to look like a 1950s sweater girl, with slightly pointy breasts & plenty of uplift, where would be a good place, in the US or Europe, to look for attractive lingerie to support the image?

Have you looked at the gallery on Modcloth? There is a great review system and lots of women in all sizes dress and post pictures. In the style you are looking for.
I am not sure about the undergarments.

They have some clothing options, I've never tried those or the bullet bras but have had good experience with other undergarments.

Unique Vintage also carries repro lingerie as well as clothing, they carry their own line as well as other brands:

I bought my first petticoat from them this year for a 50's style dress I had, it was super fun to wear.

I'm not sure on the quality of everything at UV, price points are low for a reason. But they have a good return policy.

https://pinupgirlclothing.com/ is another one to try, they also carry lingerie, not sure if it's different or similar brands to what uv stocks. I've window shopped but haven't purchased from them.

Maybe Etsy? There must be shops doing reproduction and vintage-inspired lingerie. Might even be someone local to you; Berlin has such a vibrant nightlife and performing arts scene, I imagine there are costume makers who specialize in such things (although it might be pricy!).

La Ped, I’m kicking myself that I didn’t stay in touch with my old neighbor from when I lived in Berlin in the 90s. She designed shape garments, and sewed in her home. There are lots of lingerie stores around here, but most of them are beyond my budget, and I wouldn’t know where to start looking for the style.

Molly, undergarments are the part I need.

In the UK, What Katie Did is a pretty established place for the 50s style bullet bras - https://www.whatkatiedid.com/ - I think, though I'm not entirely sure, that some of their bullet bras are less cone-y than others so you can choose whether you want the true 50s shape or something in that direction. I believe they have stockists in the US.

Also in the UK, Kiss Me Deadly does vintage style lingerie -
