Here it is in the Green, size L. I am a 10/12 on top and pear-shaped, which means I am filling out the peplum (!).
Sorry about the lighting - my usual picture spot is full of stuff during our remodeling project.
I am going to call my aspirational style "Forest Warrior Princess". So I think pics 2/3 look ok, but too sweet.
I am very curious to hear your opinions about this jacket for me.

I like all of these outfits! I think I'd prefer if 4/5 had a neutral top. Love the color with the dresses in 1/2/3, and I don't think 2/3 reads sweet... #3 the peplum looks as though it needs smoothing, but I don't think it looks bad at all. #5 rear view is fantastic!

I have this in the burgundy color also in a size L. I'm also a pear and a 10 on top. I've been feeling bad about my size (gained about 10 pounds lately) but seeing how GREAT you look, and you being about my size, makes me actually feel much better. So, thanks for that.

I like it. I am on team rear view, and that nipped in waist and hourglass figure looks great to me. I didn't know it came in green, which looks great on you. The blue's you've styled it with look great, and I can also see lots of fall color combinations with toasty umbers, so it seems like a very versatile color for you.

It looks very nice on you! I like it with blue and purple. I am wearing last year's version of the blazer today - I wish it had the fun peplum but in any case it is quite comfortable and versatile.

This is how it fit me in the store. I didn't get it because I thought the back flared out too much. But now I'm wondering if maybe I'm just not used to anything but my flat rear view? Because I really like it on you! Makes me want to go try it again.

It looks great on you. May I ask how tall you are? I am 5'8" with a fairly long torso and find many jackets with waist definition look too short on me. This looks like a good fit on you.

I LOVE it!! You were made to wear this style!! I like every one of the outfits. If 2/3 feels too sweet to you, swap those shoes for some booties. I LOVE it with that skirt!

"Green equestrian blazer" is pretty much my dream jacket, but the poly knit is not my dream fabric. However, every time I put it on I like it more and more. It is super hourglassy - the side view makes me laugh (but in a good way).
San, I'm 5'6" and fairly average-waisted. The button is hitting centered between my breastbone & belly button - I think it would still work if it were higher.
Yes, tougher shoes for 2/3...

I read that your aspirational style is "Forest Warrior Princess" & I thought you'd completely nailed it! Not too sweet to my eye. Imo the pattern in the skirt adds the "forest" component to this look in a perfect way. What is it you don't like?

2/3 is how I am comfortable dressing but there's nothing tough or "warrior" there - even though I love all the pieces, and they work together. They are all a little... soft. My Frye Melissa lace-ups would add a little more edge - and texture.
I have a lot of soft clothes because they fit my round shape well, but I am trying to get more stylistically tough. Boots are key. I am watching Ceit and the UWPs for more ideas.

Fern, this is really lovely. Like you, I'm all for equestrian blazer and not so much on poly knit, but this really is outstanding and so flattering. Hope you're planning on keeping it:)

I love the idea of "Forest Warrior Princess" and can't wait to see how you move forward with this style! I just received the same blazer and I love it. It fills my casual blazer hole very nicely. (I just noticed that they've added a blue option, too!)

FWP is a great aspirational style, and in light of your goal you can't go wrong with forest green. I actually like that the peplum flares out from your body a little. It makes the jacket more shapely and unique.

I noticed how differently it fits on you, Nancylee - it is very interesting to see it on a range of people. BTW, I like the sleeves better when I cuff them - the built-in ruching feels more intentional.

I like the idea of boots. You wouldn't have to limit yourself to edgy Road Warrior boots. "Soft" boots--meaning more luxurious, polished or refined styles--would still be worn by a FWP, IMO. Perhaps to the forest banquet after the war victory! They would be less sweet and girlie than flats or pumps, but would build on the equestrian or woodsy and "strong" vibe. Depends a lot on what and who (as in employers) you're dressing for.

Haha, fern, "soft" is one of my style goals! Mostly because as you point out, soft works so well with my round body. But I am very "anti-whimsy" so lean more towards architectural softness than sweet, girly softness. Here are some thoughts for 2/3 to make it more FWP:

Add some black moto ankle boots and a chain necklace? I don't think the skirt, top and jacket are necessarily NOT FWP, but maybe need to be accesorized to amp up the WP factor. The shoes are adorable and lovely with this, but based on your feedback maybe those aren't things you aspire to (-:

I hope you didn't take offense at my comments; I know body image subjects are very sensitive. I mean it absolutely as a compliment.

Jenava, no offense at all! I really liked how the jacket looked on Nancylee (for example) or the model photo, so when I put it on I was a little taken aback by how it fits me. Not judgmental, just "ok, that's different." Because Nordstrom sells size L, but never shows me what it will look like (end rant).
The soft thing - I'm overly sensitive to it. I think your architectural/draping looks are very strong, though. Hmm.
