I noticed that the Gibson Equestrian Blazer at Nordstrom is now available online in colors, including a gorgeous burgundy. I'm thinking about ordering it during the triple points period, but I can't decide what size to order.
Normally I am a size 2 or 2P in structured button-downs and jackets that run TTS. I am petite with short arms, sloping but defined shoulders, no bust to speak of, undefined/thick waist, and long-ish torso. I am leaning towards size SP in the Gibson blazer for shoulder comfort, but worry that the bust will be too large. Or should I get a regular size for torso length, maybe in XS?
FWIW, I've been shopping for blazers in-store and found that my most common fit problem is bust/waist ratio (big surprise, that's my problem in most woven tops). If the waist buttons, then the bust is too big, and vice versa. I measure around 32 bust, 28 waist. Is it worth ordering this blazer to try? Will it even come close to fitting me, given that the bust looks kind of big on the model?
