Gerry Weber footwear

Has anyone here heard of or have any experience with this footwear brand?

Soft Moc has some deals on some cute black ankle boots but I've never heard of these before and can't find reviews online.

If it's the brand I think of (http://www.house-of-gerryweber.....de,sc.html), then I do not have the experience with them. In fact I had no ideas they had shoes at all

But, from what I do know is that their clothes is of very good quality and reasonably priced. They target the market generally outside my interest zone, and I only ever bought very classic pieces from them -- those turned out to be workhorses.
If the shoes quality is to be judged after the clothing, then it's safe to try them at least. A lot of German made shoes have a big following on YLF (Josef Seibel, Rieker, Ara, Paul Green) for excellent comfort and quality, and the logic would say that since in real life Gerry Weber have some big market competitors on home turf, they should be up there with their own game.

I don't own anything from Gerry Weber, but my mum sometimes shops there for work clothes. She has regular events were she has to represent her department in public, conferences and so on. They have very classical, sometimes a bit old fashioned clothes. But fairly well made. I would say they sell office wear and clothes for what is usually considered "50 upwards" here in Germany, for women who aren't terribly interested in fashion but want to look "nice". I do check the webpage from time to time, especially to see if there are any basic skirts that I might like - they generally offer longer lengths because they don't target young women.

Thanks ladies. I'm not sure whether to buy them or wait and see what comes out for fall. It's definitely something I need to buy and needs to be comfortable to work with kindergarteners all day long!
