ElizabethP asked for some garden pics after spotting some of my garden in outfit posts.
The garden is a work in progress since we moved into the house summer of 2014. The house is about 30 years old, but the garden was a big project done 10 years ago. Somebody loved it, but the owners right before us were not gardeners! Also, the winter before we moved was very harsh and a week long ice storm did a lot of damage. I spent 2014 and 2015 taking things OUT. Last year was a terrible drought, so not much got done. This year we have been getting lots of rain, so I have been dividing and transplanting like mad, and everything is taking!
I have included a link to a Pinterest pictorial inventory of what I have in the garden - in no specific order. It gives a clue to the colour scheme. The actual photos are from today. The garden wraps all around the house, which is a bungalow with a walkout basement. The entire east side is a dry river bed with a pond at the bottom. The house is on the northern edge of a ravine/conservation area that runs right through the middle of town.
